Özcan Türe, born on September 3, 1973, in Istanbul and originally from Erzurum, is a Turkish folk musician, songwriter, producer, and host. He began playing the bağlama and zurna at the age of nine and started his professional music career in the mid-1990s. In 2002, his album Gönül Ezgilerimiz 3, released with İsmail Özden and Erensoy Akkaya, marked his professional debut. His first solo album, Sürgün Sevdam (2005), featured notable tracks like "Sürgün Sevdam" and "Neler Gördüm," propelling him into wider recognition. He continued with Derde Bakın (2008), showcasing songs such as "Tükendim" and "Derde Bakın," and further solidified his career with Kül Eyledin (2012) and Sevdakâr (2016), which included collaborations with prominent artists like Erdal Erzincan and Türkü Çevik. Known for performing works by iconic folk artists like Arif Sağ and Muhlis Akarsu, Türe has also released popular singles and participated in numerous project albums. In November 2024, he released another single "Yaşlanırsın".
