Rhythm Plate, a deep house production duo consisting of Matt 'Rhythm' and Ant 'Plate', formed in 1995 in the United Kingdom. Their early releases included the EPs ABCDE EP (2006) and Music From Our Souls EP (2007). In 2009, they released the single Dirty. The duo is known for their infrequent live performances, including a notable gig at Fabric in London in 2012 where they used an array of outboard gear. Their first and only studio album, Off The Charts, was released in September 2013 and featured collaborations with vocalists such as Frank H Carter III and Lorna Bean, along with musicians like Matt Chandler and Gary Reader. Rhythm Plate also contributed incidental music to television shows including CSI: Miami and remixed tracks for artists like Mark Ronson and Amp Fiddler. In 2013, they launched Pressed For Time Records, a 'vinyl only' label that continues to release music today.
