La Musgaña, a Spanish folk music ensemble, was formed in 1986 in Madrid. Their debut album, El Diablo Cojuelo, released in 1988, won the First Prize Folk Actual at the Muestra Nacional de Folk para Jóvenes Intérpretes. This success led to their second album, El Paso De La Estantigua, released in 1989 under Radio Nacional de España. In 1993, they released Lubicán and Hent Sant Jakez. Notable collaborations include Amancio Prada and Kepa Junkera. In 2004, Enrique Almendros suffered a cerebral hemorrhage, leading to significant lineup changes. Despite this setback, La Musgaña continued with albums like Temas Profanos (2003), Idas Y Venidas (2009), and Entre Dos (2013). Their most recent album, Raitán, was released in 2019.
