Acetre, a Spanish folk music group from Extremadura, was formed in 1976 in Olivenza. The band's name is derived from the traditional small vessel known as an acetre. Acetre made their debut in 1985 with Extremadura en la frontera, followed by albums such as Canto de gamusinos (1999), Barrunto (2003), and A la Casa de las Locas (2021). Acetre's achievements include the Premio Nacional de Interpretación at the X Festival nacional de música Folk de Tarifa in 1986, the Premio Nacional de Investigación at the XI Festival nacional de música Folk de Tarifa in 1987, and the Medalla de Extremadura in 2016.
