Fabio Armiliato is an Italian operatic tenor born in 1956 in Genoa, Italy. He studied at the Conservatorio Niccoló Paganini and debuted in 1984 as Gabriele Adorno in the opera “Simon Boccanegra”. His international breakthrough occurred in 1993 with his debut at the Metropolitan Opera House in “Il Trovatore”. Armiliato performed at prestigious venues including the Teatro alla Scala and Opéra de Paris. His role as Pinkerton in “Madama Butterfly” led to performances at the New National Theatre in Tokyo. He also appeared in the film To Rome with Love (2012).
