Florin Chilian, born on December 14, 1968, in Bucharest, Romania, is a Romanian musician known for his work in Folk, Pop, and Chamber music. He formed the group Rubin and won first prize at Cântarea României between 1984 and 1987. Chilian's debut album Iubi - Interfata La Realitate was released in 2001 after initial rejections from Romanian record labels and included hits like "Iubi" and "Chiar dacă". In 2004, he signed with Roton Records and released Ten Commandments, Report of the State of the Nation, 1989-2004. The First Step, featuring the hit "Zece", which reached over 10 million views on YouTube. Florin Chilian received Gold and Platinum records for this album.
