Jade Warrior, a British progressive rock band, was formed in 1970 and evolved from the group July. The founding members were Tony Duhig (guitar), Jon Field (flute, percussion, keyboards), and Glyn Havard (vocals, bass). Early on, Field and Duhig collaborated on multi-layered overdubs, forming a blueprint for Jade Warrior's music. In 1970, the band signed with Vertigo Records alongside Afro-rock group Assagai. Their debut album, Released, came out in 1971. Subsequent albums include Last Autumn’s Dream (1972), Eclipse (1973), and Way Of The Sun (1978), among other releases.
