Muriel Grossmann, born in Paris in 1971, is an Austrian jazz saxophonist. She grew up in Vienna, initially studying flute before transitioning to saxophone at age 21. In 2002, she moved to Barcelona and formed her own group, releasing her debut album Homecoming Reunion in 2007. Grossmann has collaborated with notable musicians such as Hans Tschiritsch, Shani Ben Canar, Radomir Milokovic, Robert Landfermann, Christian Lillinger, Gina Schwarz, Uros Stamenkovic, and Llorenç Barceló. Her albums include Birth of the Mystery (2010), Awakening (2013), Earth Tones (2015), Natural Time (2016), Momentum (2017), and Golden Rule (2018). In 2019, she released Reverence, which includes African instruments. Her works include Quiet Earth (2020).
