Siebenbürgen was a Swedish metal band from Stockholm that formed in 1994. The group was founded by Marcus Ehlin and Anders Rosdahl and later included members such as Richard Bryngelsson and Lisa Bohwalli Simonsson. They released the demos Siebenbürgen (1996) and Ungentum Pharelis (1996) before signing with Napalm Records. Their debut studio album, Loreia, was released (1997), followed by Grimjaur (1998). In 2000, Ehlin transitioned to performing only vocals for the album Delictum (2000). The group toured extensively throughout Europe and Mexico, performing over 100 shows alongside acts such as Hollenthon and Graveworm. After disbanding in 2006, they reunited in 2007 and released the album Revelation VI (2008). Their discography also includes the albums Plagued Be Thy Angel (2001) and Darker Designs & Images (2005). The ensemble became inactive in 2009.
