Le Boeuf Brothers, a modern jazz group based in New York City, was formed by identical twin brothers Remy Le Boeuf and Pascal Le Boeuf. Born on August 3, 1986, in Santa Cruz, California, the twins began performing locally at age 12. They attended Manhattan School of Music, earning degrees in Jazz Performance. In 2008, Pascal Le Boeuf's song "Code Word" notably won the Jazz category of the 2008 International Songwriting Competition. Their first album, House Without a Door, was released in May 2009 with notable musicians such as Ambrose Akinmusire and Marcus Strickland. The group performed at the Monterey Jazz Festival in 2010, and their subsequent albums include In Praise of Shadows (2011) and Imaginist (2016). They have performed at venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center.
