Duofel, an acoustic guitar duo from Brazil, was formed in 1977 and consisted of Fernando Melo and Luiz Bueno. Duofel's discography includes notable releases such as Duofel (1993), Espelho das águas (1994), and Kids of Brazil (1996). The duo is known for their collaborations, including work with tabla player Badal Roy and singer Tetê Espíndola, as well as their use of classical, steel-string acoustic, and twelve-string guitars. Duofel's career highlights include the release of Duofel Plays The Beatles in 2009 and Duofel Pulsando MPB in 2013. In 2012, Rolling Stone Brasil named Melo and Bueno among the 70 Brazilian Masters of Guitar and Acoustic Guitar.
