John Charles Wilson, known professionally as Frog Pocket, was a Scottish musician and electronic musical instrument player. Born in Ayr, his exact birth date is unknown. He began his career by mixing elements of folk with electronica, often incorporating fast, noisy, and complicated beats into his songs. His first album You're the One for Me was released in February 1999.
Frog Pocket's discography includes several notable releases such as My Favourite (2000) and Caric Kils (2002). His EP Moon Mountain of the Fords was released in 2003, followed by albums like Gonglot (2005) and Come On Primates Show Your Teeth! (2007). He also released the single "Fir Faas" in 2003. Throughout his career, Frog Pocket was signed to Mike Paradinas' record label Planet Mu and ran his own label, Mouthmoth.
