Quadriga Consort is an Austrian early music ensemble formed in 2001 by harpsichordist Nikolaus Newerkla. The group performed rearranged British and Irish traditional music on period instruments. The ensemble released its debut studio recording, Ground, in 2003. In 2005, the group collaborated with singer Elisabeth Kaplan for the album As I Walked Forth: Songs & Tunes of the Isles. Its discography included the recordings By Yon Bonnie Banks (2007) and Ships Ahoy! (2011), the latter of which received a "Pasticcio" award. The ensemble released 14 Tales of Mystery in 2014 and Winter's Delights in 2015. The group's album On a Cold Winter's Day: Early Christmas Music and Carols from the British Isles reached bestseller status in the classical genre. Quadriga Consort appeared at festivals throughout Europe and the United States. In 2019, Sophie Eder became the vocalist for the ensemble.
