U.K., a British progressive rock supergroup, featured John Wetton on bass and vocals, Bill Bruford on drums, Allan Holdsworth on guitar, and Eddie Jobson on keyboards and violin. Their debut album U.K. was released in 1978, followed by extensive tours. After two American tours, Holdsworth and Bruford left due to musical differences, leading to a new lineup with Terry Bozzio on drums. This trio released Danger Money in 1979, which included the single "Nothing to Lose" that reached number 67 on the UK charts. The live album Night After Night followed, and the group disbanded in 1980. The band reformed briefly in 2011, with various musicians including Marco Minnemann and Alex Machacek. In 2015, the band announced their final world tour, with Donati and Machacek. John Wetton and Allan Holdsworth both died in 2017.
