Susanna Mildonian, born on July 2, 1940, in Venice, Italy, was a Belgian harpist. She studied at the Conservatorio Benedetto Marcello in Venice and later at the Conservatoire de Paris. She held teaching positions at institutions including the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles, Tilburg Conservatory, and Rotterdam Conservatory, as well as summer courses at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Sienne and Venice. Mildonian won first prizes at the International Harp Contest in Israel (1959), the Geneva International Music Competition (1964), and the Marcel Tournier International Competition in Paris (1971). Mildonian's career included notable recordings such as Spohr's Three Sonatas For Flute And Harp (1973) with Maxence Larrieu and Concertos For Two Harps (1996) with Catherine Michel. She retired to Brussels in 2004 and passed away on October 7, 2022.
