Experience Unlimited es un grupo estadounidense de go-go/funk con sede en Washington, DC. El grupo se formó en 1975. Liderado por el bajista y vocalista Gregory "Sugar Bear" Elliot, Experience Unlimited ha sufrido varios cambios de formación a lo largo de los años. En 1977 publicaron su primer álbum, Free Yourself, al que siguió Future Funk en 1982. Haciendo hincapié en las canciones bailables, muchas de las cuales ocupaban toda una cara del disco, el grupo se hizo con un público entregado. Plasmaron la energía de sus conciertos en álbumes en directo como 2 Places at the Same Time (1986) y Go Ju Ju Go (1987). Experience Unlimited consiguió un gran éxito en 1988 con la canción "Da' Butt ", incluida en la banda sonora de la película de Spike Lee School Daze. Pronto firmaron un contrato con Virgin Records y publicaron el álbum de 1989 Livin' Large, que incluía éxitos como "Buck Wild" (que alcanzó el número 7 en las listas Billboard R&B/Hip Hop) y "Taste of Your Love" (que alcanzó el número 4).
