The Boxing Gandhis, grupo musical estadounidense de soul de Los Ángeles, fue fundado en 1994 por el productor musical David Darling. Fichados por Mesa Records en 1993, su álbum de debut, Boxing Gandhis (1994), incluyó el exitoso sencillo "If You Love Me (Why Am I Dyin')", que alcanzó el número 5 en la lista Triple A de Radio & Records y ganó un premio Billboard Music Award al mejor álbum de jazz/adulto contemporáneo en 1994. El grupo publicó su segundo álbum Howard bajo Atlantic Records en 1996, pero no alcanzó una popularidad significativa en la radio. Después de esto, la banda entró en pausa, pero regresó con un EP titulado 3rd 2nd Chance en 2008 y un EP de descarga digital Brand New Start en 2011.
