Joyce Grenfell

Joyce Irene Grenfell fue una cantante y animadora inglesa. En 1939 triunfó en una revista del West End tras interpretar un monólogo cómico. Este éxito la llevó a actuar en teatros de los cinco continentes entre 1940 y 1969. Entre las películas en las que actuó figuran Los días más felices de tu vida (1950) y la serie St Trinian's. Grenfell colaboró con Richard Addinsell en canciones como "I'm Going to See You Today" y "Turn Back the Clock". Entre sus álbumes figuran Presenting Joyce Grenfell (1960) y The New Joyce Grenfell Collection (1978). Murió en 1979.
