Paulo and Sano aka CONTENTO had so many friends in common that it was like they knew each other for many years before they actually met. In 2011 they finally had the pleasure of seeing their faces for the first time. This happens in Berlin at a concert by the master Eddie Palmieri at the House of World Cultures and it set a precedent. A few years later, in 2016, these two colombians passionate about Salsa music, come together to bring their project to life, which Paulo defines from the beginning as “Salsapunk”, because this is not an orchestra, but a duo where the way of working and the sonority go hand in hand with what we know as Punk music, and to which they give the name of CONTENTO.
