B.B.E. was founded in France in 1996. The project emerged from the European techno and trance scene of the 1990s. The members are Bruno Sanchioni from Italy and Emmanuel Top from France. Other participants, including DJ Gianni Parrini, are listed differently in various sources. B.B.E. operates in the genre of trance and progressive trance with influences from techno. The band gained international attention with the track "Seven Days and One Week", which was released in 1996 and reached high chart positions in several European countries, including third place in the UK. The track is regarded as one of the defining trance songs of the 1990s and is frequently played in clubs. The album Games followed in 1998, continuing the characteristic mixture of melodic trance and club-oriented structures. Further singles such as "Flash" and "Desire" were subsequently released and consolidated the project's presence in the electronic music scene. Later releases remain stylistically within the trance context, but do not achieve a comparable international impact.
