Mellow Trax is founded by DJ and producer Christian Scharnweber. Christian Scharnweber was born on November 9, 1972 in Hamburg. He is a German DJ and producer in the trance, Eurodance and hands-up genres. At the end of the 1990s, Christian Scharnweber began his own productions. In 1998 he started the Mellow Trax project in Hamburg. His international breakthrough came in 1999 with the single "Outa Space". The track reached number 5 in Germany and became a club hit in Europe. The debut album Techno Vibes (2000) followed in 2000, reaching number 89 in Germany. Further singles are "Phuture Vibes" (1999) and "Music Is My Life" (2001). Mellow Trax shaped the commercial dance sound of the early 2000s with melodic trance and hands-up elements. After his early successes, Christian Scharnweber released further remixes and single tracks.
