Urbandub, an influential rock band from Cebu City, Philippines, formed in 2000. Their debut album, Birth, established a local presence with the singles “Come” and "Boy." The group achieved a national breakthrough with their second album, Influence, in 2003, which featured the award-winning single “Soul Searching." They signed with EMI Music Philippines and released their third album, Embrace, in 2005, which contained the hits “First of Summer” and “Alert the Armory." Their discography further expanded with the albums Under Southern Lights in 2007, The Apparition in 2009, and Esoteric in 2013. The original lineup performed a farewell concert in 2015 following the departure of Lalay Lim and JanJan Mendoza, then subsequently reformed with a new lineup in 2016.
