Gigi Proietti

Luigi "Gigi" Proietti was an Italian singer and musician. He began his career performing at various Roman nightclubs. Proietti sang and played guitar, piano, accordion, and double bass. In 1968, he performed the opening and closing theme songs for the television show The Pickwick Club. In the mid-1990s, Proietti was a member of Trio Melody alongside Peppino di Capri and Stefano Palatresi. The group was active from 1995 until 1996 and released the album But What Do You Know... (...If You Haven't Done the Piano Bar) (1995). Proietti also had a solo career and released over 11 albums and 15 singles. He died in 2020.
