Kaddisfly is an American rock band based in Portland, Oregon, formed in 2001 by former students at Winston Churchill High School and Mountain View High School in Eugene, Oregon. The group took its name from the caddisfly insect. After several independent releases, Kaddisfly signed to Hopeless Records in 2004. The band toured extensively between 2003 and 2008, including appearances on the 2007 Take Action Tour alongside Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Emery, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, and A Static Lullaby, as well as performances on the 2007 Vans Warped Tour. They released the EP Four Seasons in 2006 and their album Set Sail the Prairie in 2007. The group went on hiatus in 2008 after bassist Kile Brewer left, before reuniting in 2014. Following their return, Kaddisfly released Horses Galloping On Sailboats in 2016 under Intheclouds Records.
