Kurt Elsasser

Kurt Elsasser, born in 1967 in Wagna, Steiermark, Austria, is an Austrian singer. He achieved early success with "Leise rieselt der Schnee" and "La Montanara" in 1980. After studying at the Salzburg Mozarteum, Elsasser's breakthrough came in 1992 with "Allein die Liebe zählt im Leben". He participated in the Grand Prix der Volksmusik that year and again in 1993 with "Stell Dir vor, i stellt’ Dir nach". Throughout his career, Elsasser released albums such as Tausend Wege führ'n in's Paradies (1997) and collaborated with artists like Nadja Abd el Farrag on Weisse Pferde (2007). Notable singles include "Ich vermiss dich immer noch" (2009) and "Bauchspecksong" (2010). Elsasser's career spanned over three decades, with more than 300 produced songs.
