Sandro Malinowski, born October 28, 1993, in Essen, Germany, is a Schlager singer. The son of Schlagersänger Fredi Malinowski of the duo Fantasy, Sandro began his career after vocational training as a car body painter. His breakthrough came in 2014 with a surprise performance at the Fantasy-Sommernacht in Aspach. In January 2016, he participated in Deutschland sucht den Superstar, presenting covers such as "Jenseits von Eden," "Verlieben, verloren, vergessen, verzeih’n," "I sing a Liad für Di," "Am seidenen Faden," and his own composition "Ich lieb dich mehr als mein Leben." Although eliminated during the third recall, he secured a contract with Telamo. His debut album Verliebt was released on March 31, 2017, reaching number five in Germany. Sandro received the smago!
