Noel John Christopher Harrison, born on January 29, 1934 in Kensington, London, is an English singer. He began his career as a member of the British Olympic skiing team in the 1950s and later transitioned into music. Harrison's first notable single was "A Young Girl", released in November 1965. In 1968, he achieved significant chart success with "The Windmills Of Your Mind", which reached number 10 on the UK Singles Chart and won the Academy Award for Best Original Song. Noel Harrison was released in 1966, followed by Collage (1967), Santa Monica Pier (1968), and The Great Electric Experiment Is Over (1969). He toured with prominent acts such as the Beach Boys and Sonny & Cher, and appeared on notable television shows including The Ed Sullivan Show. Harrison later moved to Canada in 1972 and continued his career with various touring productions. In 2002, he released an album titled Adieu, Jacques, a one-man musical tribute to Jacques Brel. Harrison passed away on October 19, 2013.
