Eneida Marta, born in Guinea-Bissau, is a singer who sings in Portuguese and Guinea-Bissau Creole. Her career began with the release of her first EP, No Storia, in 2001. Following this, she released several notable albums, including Lôpe Kaï (2006) and Nha Sunhu (2015). She was also selected to participate in the 2008 World Music Expo (WOMEX), further solidifying her presence on the global music scene. Marta's music has garnered significant attention, with her album, Family, released in 2022, ranking in the top 20 of the Transglobal World Music Chart.
