Fuxan os Ventos, a Galician music band formed in 1972 in Lugo, Spain, initially performed under the name Folk 72. They gained recognition by winning the "III Festival Musical de San Lucas" with their debut song “Fuxan Os Ventos”, which became their name. The group's early success led to numerous festival appearances across Spain and Europe. In 1976, they released their self-titled debut album Fuxan os ventos. Fuxan os Ventos underwent a major lineup change in 1983 and remained active until 1989. They reunited for occasional performances, including a concert in Guitiriz in 2007. Their later albums include Sempre e máis despois (1999) and Na memoria dos tempos (2002).
