Alexis Rimbault, co-founder of Colours in the Street, presents POCKET, his solo project.
After more than 10 years with the Ricard Live Music award winning band, concerts in famous venues and festivals (FNAC Live, Olympia, Le Trianon, Francofolies, Printemps de Bourges, La Tour Eiffel), 3 tours in Asia, and several million streams, POCKET asserts a more personal musical universe.
On this EP, POCKET starts to compose, write and arrange alone. He takes a pop, folk, and 80's direction carried by synths, drum machines, and sensitive melodies sung in English.
He builds his universe around pop and nostalgic songs.
He looks for his inspiration in the great names of contemporary folk such as Elliott Smith, Foxwarren, or Tobias Jesso Jr. but also in emblematic artists of the pop/rock scene of the 2000s such as Phoenix, Tame Impala or Kasabian.
