THEODORA : first name of Greek origin, derived from "theos", the "gift of God" ... And Theodora has it, this gift from heaven, this je ne sais quoi that puts us in a strange state ... A voice sometimes deep, sometimes smooth, an instrumental mastery that makes us capsize at the first notes of bass, a quiet strength that makes you want to go wild on the dance floor to the sound of her slow beats tempo.
She has a certain experience on stage, in particular as Theodore’s, Paul & Gabriel’s bassist or as a musician on tour with the cream of the new French pop (Barbagallo, Fishbach, Laura Cahen, Lucie Antunes). She has now returned from her travels around the world with the desire to tell her own story. A story that she will write in 2021 on her first solo album " TOO MUCH FOR ONE HEART " produced with SAGE (Clara Luciani, Woodkid). This album gracefully mixes electronic music and pop recipes with eclectic and chic references such as Austra, Lena Platonos for the vocals but also Planningtorock, Blood Orange or even Timbaland, thus mixing cold wave, r'n'b and queer hip hop with a disconcerting ease.
With this elegant and critically acclaimed album, Theodora returns in spring 2022 with "MISBEHAVING" a single mixed by Etienne Caylou, her sidekick since the beginning of her musical career. Two terribly catchy tracks on which she reveals herself with as much class and determination as ever.
