Goldspot, an American band from New York, was founded in 2001 by Siddhartha Khosla. Their album, Tally of the Yes Men, released in 2005, gained traction through live performances and airplay on KCRW. The band signed with Union Records in 2005 and later with Mercury Records in the UK. Tally of the Yes Men also reached number 10 in the alternative charts, with singles "It's Getting Old" and "Friday" achieving notable success. Goldspot performed at major festivals like Glastonbury and O2 Wireless and opened for acts such as Travis and Bon Jovi. In 2010, the band releasd And the Elephant is Dancing, followed by Aerogramme (2013), which received positive reviews and included the lead single "The Border Line".
