Dana Winner (born Chantal Vanlee, February 10, 1965) was a Belgian pop singer from Hasselt. Directed by Jean Kluger, Winner released the debut recording “Sur le toit du monde” in 1990, a version of the Carpenters track “Top of the World”. She released the album Regenbogen in 1993, which included the recording “Woordenloos”. In 1995, Winner reached number 5 in the Top 40 with the recording “Westenwind”, a cover of The Cats song “One Way Wind” .Throughout the 1990s, she produced albums in multiple languages, including Dutch, Afrikaans, German, and English, establishing a following in Belgium, the Netherlands, South Africa, and Germany. Winner released the album Als je lacht in 2006, her first Dutch-language studio work following the 2000 album Licht en liefde. Her discography included the collections Beautiful Life (2005) and Platinum Collection (2007). Winner also served as a jury member on the television program The Voice (Flandre).
