Papá Levante was a Spanish pop group formed in 2000, consisting of six girls from Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Cádiz. The group, composed of María Rodriguez, Pao Gonzales, Irene Blanco, Evora Gala, Sonia Galvez, and Sandra Blanco, was discovered by producer José Luis de Carlos. Their debut album, Tomalacaté, was released in late 2000, featuring the hit single "Me pongo colorada", which became a summer anthem in 2001. The album sold over 300,000 copies in Spain and included other notable tracks like "Practicar sexo" and "Me llamas loca". Their second album, Sopla Levante, released in early 2003, featured the singles "Comunicando" and "Gorda", with proceeds from the latter going to the NGO, ADANER. In 2005, they released their third and final album, Pa ti, pa mí. The group disbanded in 2006.
