Greta y los Garbo was a Spanish soul and pop group formed in 1989 in Valladolid. The ensemble consisted of Beatriz González "Greta", Belén González, Sara González, and Ignacio Gómez "Nacho Melody", who performed with the band until 1994. The group released its debut album, ¡Menuda fiesta!, in 1990 through Fonomusic. The release included the title track, "¡Menuda fiesta!", which was a version of the Supremes song "The Happening". Subsequent albums included ¡Llamad a Mister Brown! (1991) and Búscame (1993). Following the departure of Gómez, the remaining trio released Deseo (1995), which received a gold certification. The group released its final studio album, Greta y los Garbo, in 1997 and provided the theme for the television series Compañeros. Virgin released the compilation Grandes Éxitos in 2001. After the band dissolved in 2002, González released the solo album Rebirth in 2007.
