Hans-Jürgen Beyer (born August 28, 1949, in Leipzig) was a German schlager and rock singer. Beyer joined the Thomanerchor at age ten, performing as a solo soprano, and later studied at the University of Music and Theatre Leipzig. As a student, Beyer founded a beat group and served as the lead singer for ensembles including the Klaus Renft Combo, Uve Schikora, and the Bürkholz-Formation. Beyer initiated a solo career in 1974 with the song “Tag für Tag”, performed on the television program Schlagerstudio. He released the debut album Hans-Jürgen Beyer in 1976. His discography included the singles “Ich laß die Rosen nicht verblühn” (1975) and “Ein Augenblick der Ewigkeit” (1978). From 1986 to 1989, Beyer hosted the television show Heimat, wir grüßen dich. In 1990, he signed with the Pilz label and recorded the single “Nie wieder allein”. Since 2020, Beyer performed in the rock genre as a member of the Klosterbrüder.
