Better known as Guy2Bezbar, Guy-Fernand Kapata's pseudonym reflects his roots in Barbès, the 18th arrondissement district of Paris where he was born on December 4, 1997 and grew up (Bezbar meaning Barbès in slang). His first love was soccer, and he went on to play professionally, first for Paris FC, then for the Red Star club in Saint-Ouen, Seine-Saint-Denis. But he hasn't forgotten his passion for hip-hop and drill. In 2015, he released a mixtape called Mixtape Volume 1, followed a year later by Jungle Vol. 1, then in 2017 by Jungle Vol. 2. Backed by Niska, who collaborated with Guy2Bezbar back in 2015 with their collaboration "Ah non c'est terrible", the rapper continued his rise, appearing on projects by Koba LaD and Hamza, not forgetting the soundtrack to season 2 of Validé, Franck Gastambide's rap series. In 2021, he announces the release of his first album, Coco Jojo, on which he welcomes Zkr, Tayc, Mayo, Junior Bvndo, Rapi Sati, Sanchez, SD, Jackmaboy and Hamza. With Hamza, he signed the hit "Fendi Love", which reached number 34 in the French charts. In 2022, together with Leto, he released the collaborative album Jusqu'aux Étoiles (No. 6), featuring 15 tracks and contributions from rappers such as SDM and Koba LaD. He returned the following year with Ambition, featuring duets with Franglish, Jey Brownie and Josman. He also reunited with SDM and Koba LaD for the occasion. This project was followed by Ambition II in 2024. RSKO, Fally Ipupa and Dinos contributed. That same year, the Maison Blanche EP, featuring six tracks including "Coco" with Tayc and "Pilote" with Zamdane, reached number 31 on the French album chart. In 2025, the Black House mixtape reached No. 27 and featured contributions from Rick Ross, Josman and La Mano 1.9.
