tuXedoo is an Austrian metalcore and thrash metal band from Mattighofen, formed in 2005. Originally established as a trio named tuXedo, the ensemble describes its style as “Alpencore”, often performing in traditional Austrian outfits including leather trousers. The group released the EPs Schizophrenia (2008) and Fight (2010) before issuing its debut studio album, Flowerfield Melodies, in 2013. In September 2015, the name was officially changed to tuXedoo. The band released its second album, Tales from the Rock Mass, in 2016 through Sony Music. tuXedoo performed at festivals including Wacken Open Air and Rockavaria, and supported Dog Eat Dog on the Brand New Breed tour in 2017. Their third album, Unfold Your Brain, was released in 2020. The group’s discography includes the singles “Perchtenzeit” (2016), “Like a Bomb” (2018), and “Shifting Away” (2024).
