Roger Mas i Solé, born on December 9, 1975, in Solsona, Catalonia, Spain, is a Catalan singer-songwriter. He began his musical studies at age five under the guidance of his grandfather and started performing as a clarinettist and saxophonist at 12. His breakthrough came in 1996 when he won the Èxit award from Catalunya Ràdio. Mas released several albums, including Les flors del somni (1997), Casafont (1999), and Irredempt (2016). His music blended modern sounds with traditional Catalan and ancestral global influences. Notable awards include the Premi Enderrock for Best Singer-Songwriter Album for Mística Domèstica in 2005, the Premi Enderrock for Best Folk Album in 2008 for Les cançons tel·lúriques, and multiple Puig-Porret awards. Mas performed internationally, including in France, Cuba, Italy, Uruguay, Serbia, the United States, and Brazil.
