Joseph Augustin Kiambukuta Londa, known as Josky Kiambukuta, was born on February 14, 1949, in Gombe-Matadi, Democratic Republic of the Congo. He started his music career in 1969 with African Fista Sukisa and later joined Continental group in 1971. In 1973, Kiambukuta joined TP OK Jazz, contributing to notable songs like "Chandra" and "Fariya." He left in 1985 for a solo career and rejoined TP OK Jazz in 1987, releasing Mata Kita Bloqué. After Franco Luambo's death in 1989, Kiambukuta helped form Bana Ok. He later retired from music due to health issues and passed away on March 7, 2021, at the age of 72.
