Fuat Saka, born in 1952 in Kasımpaşa, Turkey, is a Turkish singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He received early musical training from his father, who taught him to play the accordion. Following the 1980 military coup in Turkey, Saka sought refuge in Europe until 1998, collaborating with numerous musicians. Saka's career began with releases such as Yıkılır Zulmün Son Kaleleri (1982) and Ayrılık Türküsü (1983). In 1997, he released the album Lazutlar, marking a significant milestone in his career. Since 1998, Saka has divided his time between Istanbul, Hamburg, and Paris, performing with his international group featuring musicians from Germany, North America, Georgia, and Azerbaijan. Notable collaborations include performances with Greek musicians Nikos Papazoglou and Dionysis Savvopoulos.
