Christopher Lane Conley (born February 29, 1980) is an American emo and indie rock musician from Princeton, New Jersey. The only remaining original member of Saves the Day, Conley formed the group (initially titled Indifference, then Sefler) at Princeton Day School. Under the name Sefler, he recorded the 7-inch 13 Hours of Everything. After renaming the band Saves the Day, Conley released the debut album Can’t Slow Down (1998). The band's discography includes Through Being Cool (1999), Stay What You Are (2001), In Reverie (2003), Sound the Alarm (2006), Under the Boards (2007), Daybreak (2011), and 9 (2018). Conley collaborated with Max Bemis in the group Two Tongues, releasing a self-titled album in 2009. He also provided vocals for Razia’s Shadow: A Musical (2008) and co-produced Dr Manhattan's Jam Dreams. In 2021, Conley issued a public apology following allegations of sexual misconduct.
