Born in Sète on September 16, 1973, Fanny Biascamano was just twelve years old when she took part in Jean-Pierre Foucault's Sacrée soirée program, which spawned her biggest hit, a cover of Édith Piaf's "L'homme à la moto". This version sold three million copies, earning her a gold disc. After two albums, Fanny (1992) and Chanteuse Populaire (1993), Fanny took part in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Sentiments songes", which came 7th in 1997. Back on stage ten years later, the singer once again honored Édith Piaf, before signing the book Enfants stars, plus dure sera la chute (2010). She continues to perform regularly since Les Amours de Vincent (2012), dedicated to Vincent Scotto. On December 27, 2025, Fanny Biascamano died of a long illness at the age of 46.
