Roach Gigz is an American rapper and hyphy hip hop artist from the San Francisco Bay Area. He began rapping while attending Leadership High School and started performing locally after forming the duo Bitch I Go (B.I.G.) with Lil 4Tay in 2006. In 2010, he released the mixtape Roachy Balboa, which received significant airplay on Bay Area radio station 106.1 KMEL and was praised by Pitchfork critic David Drake. In the same year, he released the single "Can I Rap," which has received over 3 million views on YouTube. His subsequent releases include Roachy Balboa 2 (2011) and Bitch, I'm a Player (2011). His first independent album, Bugged Out, was released on iTunes in 2012 through his own label, Goomba Records.
