The Black Hollies, an American garage rock band from Jersey City, New Jersey, were formed in 2005 by members of Rye Coalition. Their debut single, "Tell Me What You Want", was released in 2005, followed by their first full-length album, Crimson Reflections, in 2006. The band embarked on tours supporting acts such as Joan Jett and Blue Cheer, and released their album, Casting Shadows, in 2008. In 2009, they released Softly Towards the Light, and Somewhere Between Here and Nowhere in 2013. Their music was featured in various television shows and films, including "Can't Stop These Tears (From Falling)" in Vampire Diaries and "Paisley Pattern Ground" in Ugly Betty.
