Valentín y los Volcanes, an indie rock band from La Plata, Argentina, was formed in 2009. The group consists of Jo Goyeneche on guitar and vocals, Facundo Baigorri on drums and vocals, Nicolás Kosinski on guitar, Francisco de la Canal on bass, and Pablo Perazzo on keyboards. Their music blends New Wave and Shoegaze with influences from Argentine rock bands like Virus and Estelares, as well as American alternative rock acts such as The Cure and R.E.M. The band released their debut album Play Al Viejo Walkman Blanco in 2009, followed by Todos Los Sábados Del Mundo in 2012. They have performed at notable festivals including Pepsi Music in 2013 and Personal Fest in 2012 and 2013. Their third studio album, Una Comedia Romántica, was produced by Tweety González and released in 2016.
