Hedgehoppers Anonymous is a British beat group from England formed in November 1963. The group consists of Royal Air Force personnel and began as The Trendsetters before changing their name to The Hedgehoppers in 1964, inspired by RAF slang for low-flying aircraft. After Jonathan King took over the band's production in 1965, they added Anonymous to their moniker. The band is best known for its single "It’s Good News Week", released on Decca Records in 1965 and reached number 5 on the UK Singles Chart and 48 on Billboard’s Hot 100. This song became iconic when it was used as theme music for Good News Week, a popular Australian television show. Despite releasing other tracks such as "Don't Push Me" and "Daytime", Hedgehoppers Anonymous failed to achieve similar success with subsequent releases, being classified as one-hit wonders. The band released a compilation album in 1999: The Best Of 1965-1971, and the members did not reunite after this period.
