Worm Quartet is a comedy music project created by Timothy F. Crist, who performed under the stage moniker ShoEboX. The band was formed in 1991, named after cartoons Crist drew in high school. Worm Quartet's album, Pass the Potatoes, was recorded on cassette using a Yamaha PSR-6 keyboard. In 1993, after graduating from high school, Crist joined forces with Tony "Coffee" Roche and Kevin Morgan to record their demo tape, No Talent Implied. After moving to Syracuse, NY, for software engineering work, Crist began recording solo, culminating in the release of their first full-length CD, Sumophobia (2000). The band's song "I Bit William Shatner" was featured as a Top 5 song on the Dr. Demento Show in 2001. Notable releases include Stupid Video Game Music (2001), which features the award-winning song "Frank's Not In The Band Anymore", Faster Than a Speeding Mullet (2004), and Carpe Tedium (2023).
