Ondřej Havelka, born on October 10, 1954 in Prague, Czech Republic, is a singer, actor, dancer, and director. His musical career began as the lead vocalist for the Original Prague Syncopated Orchestra from 1976 to 1995, during which he released the 7" single "Srdce Mé Odešlo Za Tebou / Vám". In 1995, Havelka formed Ondřej Havelka and his Melody Makers, releasing Rhapsody In Blue: Pocta George Gershwinovi (1999). His work earned him the Anděl Award for Clip of the Year in 1995 for "Děkuji, bylo to krásné" and Best Jazz Performer in 1996.
