Von Welt, a rock band from the Schwarzwald region in Germany, was formed in 2015 by Nicolas Kuri (vocals, guitar), Steffen Engler (guitar), Nicolai Hoch (bass), and Patrick Moser (drums). Their initial breakthrough came with the release of their first single "Raus" in 2016, followed by the EP Billiardenstadt in 2017. The band gained attention through their unique initiative Silent Concerts, where they performed concerts in European city centers using headphones. Von Welt's debut album Schwarz, released in 2020, reached number 35 on the German charts and featured guest vocals from Larissa Kerner. The band was also financially supported by Initiative Musik during this period. In 2020, they were featured in the third episode of the acclaimed concert film series WeLive. Nicolai Hoch left the band in 2022.
